Startforth Art Monthly Group for Well Being

 My Art Monthly group for well being has been running for a year now at the Startforth Community Centre.

Here’s a collection of all the great artwork the group has created over this time.

Shell Studies

 I made some studies of shells for an exhibition with Interface Arts back in the Summer at Jarrow Hall Museum. I didn’t sell any of these works here but have just sold some at the current Witham exhibition. A bargain at £20 each.

Light Up Barnard Castle 2023

 I’ve been into local primary schools, running workshops to make willow and tissue paper star shaped lanterns for the Light Up Barnard Castle event in early December. Lots of preparation involved, quite tiring but good fun.

Can’t believe it’s been over a year since my last post - lots of catching up to do!

 I have been exhibiting in The Witham Gallery in Barnard Castle with Interface Arts.

I was the lead organiser for this, which has been quite a lot of work and a bit stressful at times. The Witham will insist on putting too many cafe tables in the gallery space which often block the view of the artwork on display.
