Here are a few of the compositions I have been making to send to my fellow Interface Arts artists and to other folk in isolation with the aim of spreading a bit of cheer and inspiration.

First up, a series of 6  A6 sized silk paint on silk paintings, inspired on the colours and patterns of rocks from Embleton Beach in Northumberland.

Adding more torn photo collage pieces and acrylic paint and inks to composition  

This works have been taken a step further. Cream chalk paint has been added to the surface with a pallet knife, highlighting certain areas / natural structures.
